For sale is a 2005 Gillig Transit Bus, 10.0L L6 DIESEL with 231,433 miles by the hub odometer reading. The vehicle has battery power, but it will not crank to start. Vehicle will have to be troubleshooted or towed to be removed from the premises. Transmission is automatic, and the vehicle is 2-wheel drive. The exterior front panel is removed to expose tow rings and the panel is inside the vehicle. White with scarlet and grey striping, and a black runner, there is some minor corrosion on the passenger side shown in the photos. There is some residue from decals being removed. Original owner notes that there may be tire issues, drivers front tire at 2/32 tread, some tires may need to be replaced as they are in poor condition. Wheels are aluminum. Engine compartment appears to be orderly.

The driver's seat is worn and ripped. All interior seat cushions are removed. Controls appear well, parking brake functions, and powered mirrors function. Fans were tested and function. No dash lamps were burned out, all functioned upon a lamp test. The brake pedal sticks a little, and would require lubrication. OSU Surplus is uncertain about the state of the lift controls, however Transportation and Traffic Management did notate that the wheelchair lifts have issues.

There is a plexiglass magnetic barrier between the front cabin and the rear seating. There are three interior mirrors for the front driver that OSU surplus took note of. There are digital route and message displays inside of the cabin, and on front of the bus. There is an area for a camera mount at the front corner of the of the cabin, by the front entry door. This vehicle has a fold-up seating bench for wheelchair securing. Most windows are emergency exists and the bus has one roof hatch for emergency exit. The doors can push open in an emergency, and both sets of doors had no manual opening or closing issues witnessed. There is a P.A. system through the bus, which was not tested. Controls are at the front. One camera is present in the rear, looking at the rear entry. All handrails appeared secure, and did not give to force. Some panel lifting on the top where handrails are secured. Vehicle has exposed wiring from its compartments.
