2004 Blue Bird TCFE 4800S, 30 passenger, 5.9L L6 Cummins Diesel, Allison Transmission, Air Brakes. Sold as is. It is recommended that the vehicle be inspected before bid is placed. Odometer mileage is 23,402. Odometer was replaced. Current mileage recorded by ECM (Engine Control Module) is 108,595. Vehicle has been maintained and it runs/drives. Service records will be provided to buyer. Being removed from fleet due to age and soft spots in floor. Front and rear A/C. All A/C components installed. One A/C system does not work. 255/70R22.5 front tires 18/32nd, rear tires 5/32nd. Battery needs replaced, however it will jump start and charge. Ricon S-series wheel chair lift is operational, however the lift cylinders have a small leak. There are exposed screw holes and wires in the dash and interior due to equipment removal. Child pick up/stop arm lights/function have been disabled. School bus decals removed or painted over.

A: We are not aware of any other defects besides what's listed in the description. Transmission is an Allison 2000 series. Top road speed governor was reset to 80 from 65 in the ECM, however we are unsure of ungoverned top road speed. The rear suspension is air bag suspension and front suspension is leaf spring. The front tires were manufactured in 2019, the rear tires were manufactured in 2017 and 2016. (7/12/22 4:22 PM)

Q: Could you explain what you mean by soft spots in the floor? I this the floor covering, actual metal floor ,or other? (7/12/22 4:34 PM)
A: The flooring consists of a sheet metal base, 5/8ths marine grade plywood, and rubber top. The plywood is rotted in several areas, but mostly in the rear floor area. We are unsure of the extent of floor issues beneath the rubber flooring as we have not inspected it thoroughly. (7/12/22 4:59 PM)

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
