Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers
Q: What obstacles are there to getting the lathe from it's current location to a door for loading? (7/6/19 1:34 AM)
A: Removal should not be a problem. There are double doors that go directly to a loading dock. Buyers are responsible for bringing the appropriate material handling equipment to move the device(s). (7/9/19 8:17 AM)
Q: Hello, I wish that you would simply print in bold letters up front " This Auction is NOT Open for Public Bidding" Instead of hiding the message in fine print that you have to have a certificate of insurance to buy this machine at the very bottom. I have been watching this for several days before I read all the way to the bottom, only to find out you simply wont sell to the average guy that wants this for his person shop. It costs a thousand dollars to get the insurance coverage you are looking for. That is just plain wrong. Surely your not trying to sell this several times to unassuming customers? (7/8/19 4:50 PM)
A: Bidders need to have the appropriate coverage for liability issues. Please feel free to contact the University's Risk Management Department at 757-683-4009 for further coverage requirements for this transaction. (7/9/19 8:31 AM)
