These Terms and Conditions are specific to this auction and supplement our standard Buyer Terms and Conditions applicable to all bidders on our marketplace. You hereby acknowledge and agree to the most recent Buyer Terms and Conditions which are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions specific to this auction. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Conditions specific to this auction and our standard Buyer Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall control. TERMS & CONDITIONS:

 

All items purchased must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.  After that time period the transaction will be canceled and the asset will be re-sold.  A default of this nature could result in a penalty in the form of a charge of 40% of the purchase price by GovDeals and will result in a lock-out of the Louisville Metro auction site.

 

BUYER BEWARE---All items are sold “as is” and all sales are final.

 

Buyers Premium. If a Buyers Premium is shown on the auction page bidder box, then that amount (expressed as a percentage of the final selling price) will be added to the final selling price of all items in addition to any taxes imposed.

 

Payment. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate.  Payment must be made electronically through the GovDeals Website. Acceptable forms of payment are:

·         PayPal

·         Wire Transfer

·         Visa

·         MasterCard

·         American Express

·         Discover

PayPal and Credit Card purchases are limited to below $5,000.00. If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, and the buyer's premium, equals more than $4,999.99, PayPal and Credit Cards may not be used. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days.

 

Most assets will be located elsewhere.  Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate.  The buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property.  Under no circumstances will Louisville Metro Government assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping.  (We can, however, refer you to a local shipping service.)

 

Property may be removed between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.  ALL PICK-UPS MUST BE SCHEDULED!  Appointment times to pick up your property are made at the discretion of Metro personnel according to the office hours at the location of the asset.  For additional information on these policies please contact Tracey Neathery at 502-574-3912 or by email at tracey.neathery@louisvilleky.gov
