Own a piece of history!! This auction is for a 90ft Fire Lookout Tower and the surrounding chain link fence. Condition of the structure is unknown and inspection is recommended. Buyer is responsible for the removal of tower and fence within 60 days of auction close. Buyer must have a minimum of 1 million dollars in general liability insurance and must present a certificate of such with Stewart County Fire Rescue being named an additional insured. This must be presented prior to removal activities.

Payment

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory)

Checks shall be made payable to: Stewart County Fire Rescue.

Removal

ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

All items must be removed within 60 days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate.

A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
