1995 International 4700 CONVENTIONAL CAB, 7.6L L6 DIESEL. 5 Yard Dump truck Engine DT 466 210 Horse Power Trans Allison Automatic Unit involved in an accident. Damage to left side door and front left of dump bed. Left side door will not open. Hydraulic tank for dump bed will have to be replaced/repaired. The Flywheel housing is cracked. Leaking transmission fluid from the torque converter seal. Some welds are broken on the dump bed frame work. Dump bed is rusted out in the front and rear. Unit will need to be towed from Central Service lot. Engine will start and run. AC will need to be repaired. Note: Please inspect items prior to placing a bid. Inspections are by appointment only. Q: CAN I DRIVE IT OUT IF I WANT .......IS LEAK IN TRANS FROM USE OR WRECK .....IS HYD. LEAKIN NOW (8/7/12 11:51 AM) A: No, it will have to be towed from this location. The transmission leak is from the wreak. It broke the flywheel housing and the transmission torque converter seal is leaking. It is not leaking hydraulic fluid now because we had to drain it all out. When the wreak happened it was so hard the the bed knocked a hole in the hydraulic tank. (8/8/12 11:04 AM) |
