Inspection

All vehicles are subject to salt air due to being on the GULF COAST OF GALVESTON COUNTY, which could result in some rust. Bidders are strongly urged to inspect the property and may inspect the property prior to bidding. Bidders must adhere to the inspection dates and times if indicated in the item description. Otherwise, please call for instructions.

Payment

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Payment must be delivered to 722 MOODY, 5th FLOOR, PURCHASING DEPARTMENT, Galveston, Texas 77590 prior to picking up the item. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency 100 dollars or less, Certified Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). Checks shall be made payable to: Galveston County.

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. The buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00AM to 12:00PM and 1:30PM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyers Certificate.
