Inspection

Inspection: Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Bidders must make an appointment for property inspection. Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. "BIDS ARE FINAL WITH OR WITHOUT INSPECTION."

Payment

Payment: Payment in full is due no later than 10 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Payment not received in 10 business days will result in default, and are subject to penalties. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency; Certified Cashiers Check; Money Order; or Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory) made payable to: Stewart County Sheriff’s Office. We do NOT accept personal checks or credit cards

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE TO SCHEDULE A TIME FOR PICK-UP! Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
