Inspection: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection is by appointment only. Please contact Debbie Post at 336-719-7551 or dpost@mountairy.org to schedule an inspection.

PAYMENT & REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Please contact Debbie Post at 336-719-7551 or dpost@mountairy.org to schedule payment & removal. Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory)

Checks shall be made payable to: City of Mount Airy

Property may be removed by appointment only. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THE CITY OF MOUNT AIRY ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR PACKING, LOADING OR SHIPPING. BUYER SHALL MAKE ALL ARRANGEMENTS AND PERFORM ALL WORK NECESSARY INCLUDING PACKING, LOADING AND REMOVAL OF ANY AND ALL ITEMS AWARDED TO THEM. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT TO REMOVE ALL ITEMS.
