1997 GMC Jimmy V-6 4.3 Vortec Automatic 4x4 SLT

This is a seized vehicle that was awarded to our agency. Gray leather interior. The front seats have some tears in the bucket lowers of both seats. This could be repaired if so desired. The color is black with alloy wheels. The lower half is gray in color. There is a nice third class tow hitch mounted on the rear of the vehicle. It has Air conditioning, Power windows, power door locks, power steering, automatic transmission, 4x4 drive line and the factory AM-FM CD stereo. We make an attempt to get these vehicles running, however this vehicle would not start. So, it is being auctioned as is and unknown engine, transmission and drivetrain condition. Engine is not locked up. ***Keep in mind that the vehicle had to be running and driving at the time of seizure.***

There is some body damage to the left front of the vehicle and on the left fender. Please see the pictures for details. The left side view mirror is missing as well. Scratched and dents in places. This is a non running vehicle so you need be prepared to tow this vehicle from the lot if you are the winning bidder. Glass appears to be okay on this vehicle.

Section 53-11-201(b), Tennessee Code Annotated, requires that all property seized pursuant to this statute be sold at public sale. In addition, Section 40-33-211(d), Tennessee Code Annotated, prohibits an owner of property whose interest had been forfeited after being charged with a felony from bidding on or purchasing that property from the seizing agency.

All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” Seller makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other money damages – special, direct, indirect, or consequential.

Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of Seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate.

A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. The "SELLER" or its employees, will not assist in loading, packaging or get involved with a shipper on this item.

The "WINNING BIDDER" must pick up the property MONDAY - FRIDAY 8 AM - 4:00 PM except holidays, so I have access to our city staff Notary Public for the transfer of the "BILL of SALE" and to receipt payments.
