STARTS AND RUNS. when we started it last week we had to use the primer button to get the rear engine to start but had no problems starting it after that.
TWIN DETROIT 736 CI V-8 DIESEL ENGINES. FRONT ENGINE HAS 1426.8 HOURS AND REAR ENGINE HAS 327.1

17701W. It can hold up to 6,200 gallons of water & up to 500 gallons of foam.
ONE TIRE ON THE RIGHT REAR HAS A LEAK BUT WILL AIR UP TO TRANSPORT. THIS IS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.
Unit weighs 75,260 lbs. empty & 130,860 lbs., gross. It has dual 492 Hp Detroit Diesel turbo engines.
This beast of a crash rig was ONE OF approximately 150 built for the military in the late1970's/early 80's. setup includes 2-1200gpm pumps. The twin turrets can flow either 600gpm or 1200gpm each. When attacking fires, these were intended to roll out the door with FF's standing and manning the large foam cannons on the roof!
THIS UNIT HAS BEEN OUT OF SERVICE FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 YEARS BUT EVERYTHING WORKED AT THAT TIME.

Removal. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will WALNUT RIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping.
