Grumman Jon Boat - Model 1237. (Max Capacity: 3 Persons or 350 lbs.). Located at the ODU Bay of the Norfolk Boat House - Robertson Rowing Center (equipment is located outside in the Boat House yard). Length: 12 ft. May have leaks and some rotted wood.

**This Jon Boat does not have a Certificate of Title and was never registered because it was just used as a rowing boat with no use of an outboard motor. The boat was not propelled by machinery and therefore was not required to be registered or titled. Successful bidder will be issued a notarized Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries "Affidavit for Registering and Titling a Motorboat Not Previously Registered and/or Titled" for use in obtaining a Virginia Watercraft Registration and Title, if desired.

*** Only the Grumman 12 ft. Jon Boat shown in the attached photo is included in this auction (boat shown in the middle of the other boats on the pics). The other boats pictured ARE NOT included. They are being offered on separate auctions.

Jon Boat DOES NOT include outboard motor, dolly, trailer, fuel can, or any other accessories.

Sold "as is, where is". Site visit inspection of equipment is by appointment only on Tuesdays and Fridays between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Site visit is highly recommended.

Successful bidder is responsible for providing the necessary equipment & labor and will assume all liability in removing the Jon Boat from the University's property. No service of any type will be furnished by the University. Any cost associated with the weighing, packaging, crating, loading, or hauling shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder.

*** Successful bidder MUST call to schedule pick-up date 24 hours in advance of anticipated date of removal. Pick up time is by APPOINTMENT ONLY on Tuesdays and Fridays between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS.
