Unit T-96 is a 1996 Adrian manufactured modular classroom, 24' wide x 32' long with HVAC unit(s) included. Unit has no sink nor toilet. Purchased new in 1997 for use at an elementary school; vacated in 2003 following completion of renovations in school building. Used for storage of furniture and supplies for past several years; unit has remained climate controlled. All steps, porches, ramps, blocking, and underpinning, as available, are included with unit. The unit will be ready for pickup, upon bid closing and notification to GCSD by GovDeals that payment has been made, with all electrical and wiring disconnected. Condition - good. Escrow Payment: When the purchase price (of a single item or the aggregate purchase price of multiple items) totals $5,000 or greater, GCSD will require a down payment from the winning Buyer. This non-refundable fee will be 20% of the total purchase price. The Buyer will have 48-hours from the time of issuance of the Buyers Certificate, to comply with this requirement. Escrow payment must be through certified check and forwarded to Georgetown County School District to the attention of Chris Jones. If Buyer fails to comply with this requirement within the stated time frame, the Seller can declare Buyer in default, bar them from further bidding and have them removed from the GovDeals system. If Buyer is in default, Seller may negotiate with next closest bidder, re-list at another auction and/or pursue all legal proceedings. All monies collected in escrow, will be deducted from total monies due at time of final payment. It will be the responsibility of the awarded bidder to remove these units from the property utilizing an authorized, insured contractor. The District reserves the right to review certificates of insurance for contractors prior to the inception of any work. Removal: All items must be removed within 20 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon presentation of a Buyer’s Certificate from GovDeals. It will be the responsibility of the awarded bidder to remove these units from the property utilizing an authorized, insured contractor. The District reserves the right to review certificates of insurance for contractors prior to the inception of any work. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located, as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Georgetown County School District assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, by appointment only, excluding legal holidays.
