SALES TAX: As required by law a 7% sales tax will be imposed on items (excluding vehicles) purchased. ADMINISTRATIVE FEE: A 7.5% fee will be applied to ALL ITEMS. PAYMENT: Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency. Payments amounting to $10,000 and over must be remitted to the City of Aiken using wire transfer (ACH). Payments shall be made at the location listed in the Buyer’s Certificate: 214 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801.

All items must be removed within 5 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed BY APPOINTMENT ONLY between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays.
