PAYMENT: Payment must be received before items are removed. Payment is received at City Hall, 401 Park Avenue South, Winter Park, FL 32789. You can also mail in your payment ahead of time to 401 Park Avenue South, Winter Park, FL 32789. Payment is due in full no later than 10 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory) Checks shall be made payable to: City of Winter Park. If you have any other questions, contact Anthony Durrum, Purchasing Agent, (407) 599-3315 office, (407) 599-3448 fax or e-mail: adurrum@cityofwinterpark.org. SALES TAX: Applicable sales tax for the State of Florida will be collected at time of payment. For equipment (anything not requiring a title), the rate of 6.5% will be charged. The rate of 6% will be charged to all vehicle buyers except those from states with a lower rate than 6%. Those vehicle buyers titling their vehicles within the State of Florida will also be assessed the applicable surcharge for your county for amounts up to $5000. If you are tax exempt, please provide your exemption certificate or resale certificate BEFORE time of payment.  Removal

REMOVAL: All items will be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate or risk forfeiture of the auction. The Buyer will make all arrangements for or perform their self, all work necessary, including packing, loading and shipping of the purchased item(s). City of Winter Park accepts NO responsibility for preparing, packing or shipping of items/vehicles purchased. Vehicles are located at 1409 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32789 unless listed otherwise. Property can only be removed between 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, NO EXCEPTIONS.
