1998 Ford Explorer XL 4-Door 4WD SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 4.0L V6 SOHC 12V.

Exterior color is white, chassis is white, and has minor scratches and dings. Emergency equipment has been removed, along with decals but impressions remain.

Interior is blue cloth and vinyl, that has been worn, along with hole in the carpet. Options includes A/C tilt steering, power windows and power door locks, and AM/FM CD.

Vehicle maintained every 3,000 miles. Removed from service in February 2012.

A: All records are available for this vehicle. It was a battalion chief vehicle and still runs fine. Has an exhaust manifold leak that will need repaired. Tires still have good tread and are in in-service condition. (8/27/12 11:24 PM)

A: The unit will run and will not need to be towed. No know mechanical problems exist with the exception of the drivers door lock will not accept the key. Must unlock through the passenger side door. The Explorer is a V6. Tire tread is in good shape. The interior is worn and has the carpet cut out where the siren stand was mounted. All maintenance records are available. The vehicle was stored outside and was the previous inspector vehicle. I will work on posting additional pictures for your review. (8/28/12 1:28 PM)
