Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory)

Checks shall be made payable to: Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. To pay in person: Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, 2nd Floor Division of Finance, 1015 Pithon St., Lake Charles, LA 70601.

To pay by US mail: Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, Division of Finance, P.O. Box 3287, Lake Charles, LA 70602-3287.

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 will be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. Seller reserves the right to reclaim and resell items not removed within 30 calendar days from the expiration of specified removal date.
