***CIRCA 1960 CIVIL DEFENSE SUPPLIES BEING SOLD AS IS***

In the early 1960's the Reno Downtown Post Office was one of 100,000 fallout shelters designated by the Office of Civil Defense. These items were placed in the basement of the Downtown Reno Post Office in approximately 1963, have been abandoned in place and have never been used.
All drugs and food have been removed.

Successful bidder is solely responsible for removing all items from the basement and is responsible for providing manpower and equipment for removal. Under no circumstances will the USPS assume responsibility for removing from the basement, loading or shipping.

Successful bidder will be required to sign a HOLD HARMLESS agreement (attached) prior to taking possession.

The items include:

Medical Kit A, 1 opened box
Medical Kit C, 2 boxes (1 opened, 1 sealed)
30 containers of SK IV Sanitation Kits, unopened
Approximately 200, 17.5 Gallon Water Drums (unknown if drums contain water)
Safety Notification Cards, 5 boxes (2 opened, 3 sealed)
Sand bags/burlap sacks in barrels, number unknown, located in room on roof
PO Form 809 (1959 Emergency Change of Address), 1 opened box
