Payment. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified Cashier’s Check. Payments shall be made at the location listed in the Buyer’s Certificate. If payment is not received within 5 business days, bid is considered forfeited. Payment should be made at the following address: 400 South Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009 - City Hall 2nd Floor - General Services Department. The location to pick up is different from the payment location (see below).

Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final. All items must be removed within 7 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate (2 days after payment is made). Failure to remove purchased item(s) within the time specified will result in loss of purchase by the Buyer and City will retain 100% of the bid payment. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will City of Hallandale Beach assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Pick-up location is 630 NW 2nd Avenue, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009 - Public Works, Utilities and Engineering Department - Garage.
