You are bidding on a 2008 Dodge Charger SE SEDAN 4-DR, 5.7L V8 OHV (Hemi) 16V. Vehicle runs well. Vehicle removed from patrol service as part of normal squad rotation. Well maintained with full maintenance records available for inspection. Vehicle has hole in roof and hole in truck lid; however, both holes have been sealed with plugs. Paint on roof marred from light bar with tinge of rust on paint. Some minor scratches. Small dent in hood. Vehicle has been fully detailed for sale. Interior is in good condition with ceiling light removed. Dark slate gray cloth and vinyl. AM/FM CD; A/C (blows cold); Dual Airbags; Tilt Steering; Remote Mirrors; Power Windows/Door Locks/Steering/Seats ************************************ Equipment is being sold as surplus equipment in its present, as-is condition. The City of Altoona makes no warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, concerning the condition of the equipment, its fitness for buyer’s intended use nor does the City of Altoona warrant that any item sold will pass a City, State or Federal inspection. Equipment may have unknown mechanical defects that are subject to prospective bidder’s review during a physical inspection.

 Payment

Equipment may be paid by certified cashier’s check, credit union cashier’s check issued by a Federal or State charted credit union, traveler’s checks, postal or commercial money order, wire transfer, or cash. Checks should be made out to the City of Altoona. Cash payments must be in US currency. Credit card payments are not acceptable. No personal checks will be accepted. Title (where applicable) will not be transferred until payment is received and verified. An 7.5% Buyer’s Fee will be collected on each purchase. Payment shall be submitted to the City of Altoona at 1303 Lynn Ave Altoona, WI 54720. Full payment is due within seven (7) calendar days from Notice of Award. Equipment may not be returned nor will the buyer be reimbursed any funds for any reason subsequent to the sale. The City reserves the right to sell equipment to the highest overall bidder and to accept or reject all bids received; some or all equipment is subject to reserve (minimum) bid price.

 Removal

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within fourteen (14) calendar days after payment has cleared, otherwise storage charges will be assessed at the rate of $15.00 for each day the equipment remains on the lot. Bidder will be notified when payment has cleared.
Upon winning a bid on a vehicle or piece of equipment, the buyer is required to print and sign his or her name stating that they have read and understand the terms and conditions of the City of Altoona. The buyer then must submit this affidavit along with their payment or the City of Altoona shall have the right to annul the contract without liability.
