If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, and the buyer's premium, equals more than $4,999.99, Wire Transfer must be used. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days. Payment must be receipted at GovDeals, via their PayPal/Credit Card payment program immediately after the sale and no later than five (5) business days from the sale end date. If payment is not receipted by GovDeals within five (5) business days, the property may be auctioned at the next County sale. NO PAYMENT will be receipted by the County of Cape May. GovDeals will issue a Buyer’s Certificate to the winning bidder at the auction’s end date. Under no circumstances will the County of Cape May release any items without the Buyer’s Certificate from GovDeals.

All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Property may only be removed during a scheduled time that has been made to the Buyer prior to pick up. NO EXCEPTIONS. To schedule a removal time please call Lisa D’Amico at (609) 889-7812 or email at ldamico@co.cape-may.nj.us. Property may be removed Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays and ONLY during designated times. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packaging, loading and transportation of the property. Purchases will be released only with proof of payment from GovDeals. Buyer will be asked to sign a Bill of Sale upon pick up of said property. If Buyer fails to pick up the item(s) by the eleventh (11) business day, the item(s) will be resold and the Buyer will forfeit their payment of the item(s) and their participation in the GovDeals auction site.
