Special Instructions

All sales are “AS IS, WHERE IS” and without recourse. The miscellaneous lost and abandoned property is offered on an “as is” basis. The LCPA offers no warranties, express or implied, as to the condition of the miscellaneous lost and abandoned property.

Inspection: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, made payable to: Lee County Port Authority. No personal checks or money will be accepted.

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property.

Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

A: Each piece appears to be marked 14k, however, no testing has been done to verify the authenticity of these items. We, the Lee County Port Authority, do not certify that the metal or stones are real or genuine. (6/18/12 9:40 AM)

A: The Lee County Port Authority will not box items for shipping, however, there is a local UPS Store that has worked with us in the past. If you send them the Buyer's Certificate, they will sign for possession of the property, ready it for shipping, and ship it to you. The auction winner may contact us for further information.
