The items for sale herein by the Lee County Port Authority are property that was lost or abandoned and unclaimed. Most items are used, and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Note: Please inspect items prior to placing a bid. Inspections are by appointment only. Please call to schedule an appointment.

Special Instructions

All sales are “AS IS, WHERE IS” and without recourse. The miscellaneous lost and abandoned property is offered on an “as is” basis. The LCPA offers no warranties, express or implied, as to the condition of the miscellaneous lost and abandoned property.

Inspection: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, made payable to: Lee County Port Authority. No personal checks or money will be accepted.

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property.

Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
