1997 Honda Civic LX sedan SEDAN 4-DR, 1.6L L4 SOHC 16V. 4 speed automatic transmission. This vehicle starts with a "boost" and it runs. It was being driven when it was stopped and seized by the police. It was driven through the parking lot on 9/10/12, but quit running when the battery booster was removed. The long term operability is unknown. It will start again, but appears to have a battery or alternator issue. The interior of this vehicle is gray with gray cloth seats. The exterior color is white. Vehicle has damage to the exterior as evidenced by photographs. The mileage is listed as it appears on the odometer. This forfeited vehicle was originally towed on 6/1/12. It is recommended that all forfeited vehicles be towed from the Dayton Police lot. Abandoned or forfeited vehicles may contain defects. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). Checks shall be made payable to: City of Dayton. Removal: PROPERTY MAY BE REMOVED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY by calling Sergeant J. Mullins 937-333-8687, Detective S. Rockwell(937) 333-1159 or Detective J. Delrio(937) 333-8246. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. This also includes arranging for a third party to pick up your vehicle. Authorization must be presented to Detective S. Rockwell, Detective J. Delrio or Sergeant J. Mullins prior to pickup.
