Up for auction is a 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 SEDAN 4-DR, 6.1L HEMI V8 OHV 16V. This Car is not perfect, but it is real close. The car has been driven so you will find some minor scratches. There is one on or near the right front door handle and another just behind the right rear tire. You might be able to find other minor blemishes, but I didn't. One problem with the exterior of the car is the aftermarket front end conversion that was added. The paint is peeling away, but only on the add on. The interior is very clean. The seats (leather w/ cloth inserts) only show minor signs of wear, and could probably be brought back to like new condition. The vehicle was equipped with emergency equipment which has been removed. This did leave a few small screw holes in some of the interior components, and the grille for the ram air intake was cut to allow for an LED light. It is my opinion that the vehicle is in very good to excellent condition overall. The vehicle is equipped with the factory SRT8 options including power windows, locks, power seats, power steering, cruise control, tilt steering, remote power mirrors, and also has an aftermarket stereo system including a Kenwood am/fm/cd player, and Kicker subwoofers. Please don't submit any technical questions concerning the stereo systems. All I can tell you is that it is LOUD! The brakes were just replaced. New pads and rotors were installed on all four corners. I have done my best to describe any defects with the vehicle, but here just aren't many.

The odometer shows 64,876 miles. This does appear to be accurate.

Removal

A: There are no indications of any potential problems, i.e. no check engine lights or any other warning lights. The engine runs fine. This vehicle was siezed, so I do not know for sure, but I suspect, as do others that have driven it, that there may have been some type of aftermarket parts, tuning or programming. I do not know what has been done or added, but I do know that this car is FAST. (7/23/12 1:43 PM)

A: This vehicle was seized by the Sheriff's Office in 2010. It was awarded to the Sheriff's Office later that same year, and placed into service, but on a limited basis. We have driven the vehicle very little, and serviced it at regular intervals. It appears to have been very well maintained, but there are no service records to document what has been done. As stated in the description the brake pads and rotors were just replaced. (7/24/12 9:10 AM)
