|INSPECTION: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to submitting bids. Failure to inspect property shall not constitute grounds for a claim or withdrawal of a bid after the close of the auction. To arrange inspection, please call the PA State Surplus at 717 705-6583 or 717-787-9724. Items are usually available for inspection Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST. SHIPPING AND PAYMENT The Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. All items will be shipped UPS Ground using the Seller’s account information and at the Buyer’s expense (Use the provided UPS Ship Calculator for an estimate). This charge will appear on the Buyer’s final invoice, and will be included in the total amount due in the Winning Bidder Notification. Full payment is due on, or before, the 7th calendar day from the last day of the auction. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is unable to accept payment by PayPal. You may pay by credit card by calling 717-787-6995 or you may send your payment in the form of a certified/cashier’s check or bank money order made payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Cash with pickup only. All items must be removed within 10 calendar days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:30 AM through 2:00 PM EST Monday-Friday, excluding legal holidays. Property not picked up within 10 calendars days from date of auction close, reverts back to the Department of General Services with no financial compensation made to the buyer. Please pick up your items promptly. PA Department of General Services employees, and their immediate family members, are prohibited from buying on items offered by the Department of General Services on electronic auction sites.
