LOT auction includes (142) DELL CPU's, a mixture of Dell Optiplex 240, 270 and 280's. (148) Monitors, mixed manufacturers and colors, mostly black. Auction also includes (16) boxes of keyboards, speakers, mice and cables. Exact count in boxes unknown. Operating condition of all equipment is unknown, bidders are encouraged to inspect before bidding. Equipment is located in Star NC, 27356.

Removal is by Appointment Only and all items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for all loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. Vehicle Titles will be issued at the time of removal.

Q: Are the hard drives still in these computers? (9/25/12 8:23 PM) A: I shared this question with the technology director and he's response was that they did not remove any hard drives when they took the CPU's out of service. However, some units came directly from the school and may or may not have hard drives removed by the school based technology people. I would STRONGLY recommend that you inspect the cpu's yourself before bidding or bid as if the units did not contain hard drives. I will be happy to schedule an onsite inspection before auction closing date. (9/26/12 9:29 AM) |
