This vehicle is a 2000 Ford Mustang 2-DR, 3.8L V6 OHV 12V. This vehicle was seized by our agency for a drug trafficking violation and needs a good home. This vehicle starts, runs, and drives great with a boost. It requires a boost because the battery is down. The battery may be able to be saved with a good overnight slow charge. A few things that I want to point out is that the interior of this car is clean as a pin as you will see in the detailed photos. The previous owner had just recently put four brand new tires on it which still remain in almost new condition. It is equipped with a Jensen Stereo System with two professionally boxed sub-woofers and an amplifier located in the truck as you will also see in the photos. There is a few small dings on this vehicle's exterior but the main spot is on the roof which you will also see in the photos. It currently has 205,358 miles on it but runs like a top and does not smoke at all or have any leaks that I have seen. This would be an excellent daily driver or beginner car. Once you have submitted your entire payment, be certain to contact me at 423-754-1247 in order to schedule an appointment to come and pick up your new car. Vehicles can only be picked up by appointment and on Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00AM - 4:00PM. The reasoning for this is that is the hours that the office's Notary works and we have to have one of them to complete the paperwork. Please do not just show up wanting your vehicle without an appointment. I am the only one than can complete the paperwork to release your vehicle to you. Please be certain to make a verbal appointment with me to insure that I will be there. If this is done, you will be out of there and on your way within (10) minutes. Thank You!

Q: IS THERE A TITLE FOR THIS CAR,KEYS (5/21/12 5:44 PM) A: Grift, Yes, there is keys. There is not title with any of these vehicle. When you pick the car up, you will be provided by a Gov Deals computer generated bill of sale which will be signed and notarized. You will also be suppled of the actual court order which states for us to sell the vehicle. With these two papers in hand, you should be able to obtain a title without any trouble. Q: i live almost 4 hrs from your location. will this car get me back home ? (5/31/12 5:11 PM) A: I have been the drug unit task force Lieutinant for approaching three years. I firmly believe believe in being as honest I can concerning these vehicles. I will tell you what I can tell you for sure on it. I am certain the car ran well and driven dailey all last summer. I know this because we we're meeting with the previous owner and purchasing large amounts of controlled substances on the average of two or three times per week. This individual drove this car daily and always made his deliveries in it. I can also tell you that we personally drove the vehicle the night it was seized and it run, rode and drover well. I am honestly not aware of any mechanical defects in it other than the body damge that you see in the photos. The vehicle has set for approximately 8-10 months. The battery had went down but it fired right up and I drove it the day we photographed it a little over a week ago. It needs to be ran a some but other than that, I am aware of nothing. Q: Why did this car not sell the first time ? (6/1/12 8:00 AM) A: rickin, the reason this car didn't sell the first time is because the owner simply defaulted on it. I did speak with him two or three different times but he never did submit payment. He was from Maryland so he never came and looked at the vehicle. He just simply failed to submit payment for it. I even gave him a few extra days nut... mothing. That is the only reason. that's only been the 3rd time I have had that happen to me since I have been doing this. I will tell you that I have never had a vehicle rejected once the buyer gets here and see's the vehicle. I hope this helps you and if I can help you anymore, please don't hesitate to holler at me. Q: how do you place a bid (6/1/12 3:49 PM) A: scurtis, first of all you must be a registered bidder on Gov Deals. If you are not, access www.govdeals.com. You will see a red and blue box in the top right corner. One says sign in the other says register. If you are not registered, You will need to click the register button and take the 4 or 5 minutes to register. Once you are registered and you home page opens up, you will see a box up toward the top left corner that says search by location or zip. Our zip code is 37857. Type that zip code in. the first agency it will show you is Hawkins County Sheriff's Office. Click on it. Then it will bring up the Mustang. Click on the description just to the side of the Mustand picture. On. this page, you wil see a large yellow box in the top right corner. Inside that the yellow box, you will see an empty Bid Box. this is where you enter the maximum price you would give for the vehicle and Govdeals bids for you but only when they have to in order to keep you on top.
