2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 2WD SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 4.0L V6 SOHC 12V.

The exterior is SILVER. The interior is gray. This vehicle has automatic transmission. The odometer shows 143,175 miles. The paint and interior are in excellent condition. This vehicle has white faced gauges, rear temperature controls, and a JVC AM/FM/CD Player. I have attempted to show the accurate condition but it is recommended that you inspect the vehicle prior to placing a bid (Please see inspection instructions below).

**THIS ITEM IS A DRUG SEIZURE** The operating condition is unknown. There may be defects that are unknown to the seller. The odometer reading may not be the actual mileage. It is recommended that you inspect all items PRIOR to placing a bid. Property is being offered "As Is/Where Is" without warranty or guarantee of any kind. Vehicles may be inspected BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (Tuesday - Thursday 10am-3pm Eastern Time) These are the only times available for inspections. Payment

Payment on full must be made no later than 10 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: US Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, and Company Checks (with bank letter guaranteeing funds - MANDATORY). Checks should be made payable to 1st Judicial District Drug Task Force. Removal

VEHICLES WILL BE REMOVED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!! Appointments will be scheduled for Tuesday - Thursday 10am-3pm eastern time. Buyers arriving without an appointment will be turned away and may be unable to complete the transaction. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date on the Buyers Certificate. The buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the allowed 10 business days. Vehicles must be towed from the storage location unless a temporary operation permit or dealer license plate is applied to the vehicle. **PICK UP IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY** ** ONCE THE PROPERTY IS REMOVED FROM THE SELLERS LOCATION - ALL SALES ARE FINAL**

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to check with their local county to ensure this documentation will be sufficient for titling and registration purposes, in their state of residence.

A: The vehicle was running at the time it was seized. Other than being moved across the lot one time, it has been parked since the time of seizure so the battery is currently dead. I did boost it off several months ago to move it and it started right up at that time. I would imagine it would still run with a boost or a new battery but I can't be 100% positive about the current operating condition. You are welcome to schedule an appointment to inspect the vehicle. Q: CLEAR TITLE OR NO TITLE? (7/30/12 12:36 PM)
A: Please see the "Special Instructions" for the auction- Since this is a seized vehicle- I do not have the title in hand, but it is not a problem to obtain it. The buyer will be provided with a court order from the State of Tennessee and a Bill of Sale. Within Tennessee; this is all the paperwork you will need. If you are in another state- you will need to check with your local clerks office to ensure the paperwork will be sufficient for title & registration purposes. Thanks (7/30/12 1:23 PM)

A: This truck was actually seized on 06/22/2010. I did boost it off several months ago to move it and it started right up at that time.
