Inspection

Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. You may inspect items prior to placing a bid. Walk in inspections are welcome during our regular business hours, Monday through Friday 12:00pm to 4:00pm, excluding legal holidays.

Payment

7% State sales tax will be charged to Indiana residents as well as buyers who pick up items at our location.

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, certified cashier’s check, Money Order, and personal or business checks with bank letter guaranteeing funds(mandatory). Checks should be made payable to Purdue University and either mailed or delivered to 3601 Sagamore Parkway N., Suite K; Lafayette, IN 47904.

TAX EXEMPTION: If you are Tax Exempt, you MUST provide your tax exempt documentation to this Seller PRIOR to making Payment. If no exemption certificate is presented tax will be collected and no refunds will be given. Contact Susan Ticen at sticen@purdue.edu for further information.

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 12:00p.m. and 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
