Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable or known. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding by appointment only. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. A COPY OF THE EMAILED BUYER'S CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR PAYMENT AND REMOVAL. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency in the exact amount, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory), NO PERSONAL CHECKS. Checks shall be made payable to: Delaware County. Payment must be made at the Facilities Management Office, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Please contact the office at (740) 833-2280 or email: aadkins@co.delaware.oh.us to verify the office will be open when you plan to arrive to make payment and removal.

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Property may be removed by contacting the Facilities Management Office at (740) 833-2280 or email: aadkins@co.delaware.oh.us to verify the location will be open when you arrive. SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOADING AND REMOVAL. All property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate must be removed. The Buyer shall make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of all property. Under no circumstances will Delaware County assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business. NOTE: ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLERS LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL!
