Bid at your own risk. Asset is offered for sale "AS IS, WHERE IS." City of Virginia Beach (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Highly recommend inspection of any item you are interested in bidding on. Inspections are only on Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Inspection: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection is by appointment only.

Payment in full is due no later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or Credit Card. Mastercard, Discover, American Express and VISA are accepted and a processing fee will be applied. Payments can be made in person Mon - Fri 8:00 - 5:00 EST or via telephone by calling 757-385-8968 Mon-Fri 8:30 - 11:30 EST ONLY. Checks shall be made payable to: City of Virginia Beach Treasurer. Payments must be made at or mailed to City of Virginia Beach Treasurer, ATTN: Auctions, 2401 Courthouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. Please include a copy of your Buyer's Certificate with payment.

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. If sucessful bidder requires a third party to pick up the item won authorization is required for removal of item and release of title. Property may be removed by appointment only. A daily storage fee of $20.00 a calendar day will be charged for any item not removed within 10 business days from the date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Titles will only be issued and assigned in the sucessful bidders name and/or company as listed on the Buyer's Certificate, per Virginia Code 46.2-628..
