This item is a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, vin #136371R126720. It has a V-8 engine that needs repair and does not run. It has an automatic transmission. The interior is brown leather but the inside restoration is incomplete (no dash, no door panels, etc). The exterior is gray with minor scratches, no door locks, and missing the door handle on passenger side. Tires off of rim. No odometer so mileage is unknown.

This vehicle is a drug seizure and has been in our possession since December 2010.

Payment

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer's Certificate. Please understand that all unpaid items will be re-posted on the 6th day, and non-paying customers will be blocked from participating in future auctions. Payment is made at 1 Public Square Suite 301. Acceptable forms of payment are: Cash, certified cashier's check, money order or a company check (with bank letter guaranteeing funds--mandatory)

THE CITY WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN ANY WAY IN BANK FINANCING. VEHICLES ARE TITLED IN THE NAME OF THE WINNING BIDDER. SALES PRICE WILL BE PUT ON THE TITLE. NO BLANK TITLES WILL BE ISSUED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the buyer's certificate. A $10 per day storage charge WILL be charged beginning on the 11th day if the buyer fails to pickup the item(s). Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. Those purchasing vehicles are responsible for providing all tools, carriers, mechanics, etc necessary to transport the vehicle. Under no circumstances will the City of Clarksville assume any responsibility for packing, loading, and shipping.

Items not picked up within 30 days of date of sale shown on buyer's certificate will be considered abandoned property and sold to cover storage costs. Also, money paid to the City for the original purchase WILL NOT be refunded.
