Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

Payment

APPROVED FORMS OF PAYMENT MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO: PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: Cash ($500.00 dollars or less), Certified Check, Money Order, Traveler’s Checks, or Company Check with letter of Guarantee from your bank. Mailed payments should be sent to: PWC – Pam Owens, 1097 Public Works Drive Fayetteville, NC 28301.

ALL Vehicles and Equipment with Titles:

Titles will be completed in compliance with NC General Statute GS 20-75. All International buyers will be responsible for any additional fees or charges incurred for expediting transfer of title.

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary. PWC does not provide any loading, packing, shipping and/or labor assistance for pickups. No vehicle/equipment loading docks are available at pickup location. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m; Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

Consideration of Bid:

PWC reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw from sale any of the items listed.
