Payment

PAYMENT: Payment in FULL is due No-Later-Than FIVE (5) business days from the date and time of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency, Cashiers Check, Money Order or Wire Transfer. NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS ACCEPTED! If payment is made in Cash, you must provide exact change!

SALES TAX: 6.0% Florida Sales Tax must be added to the final winning bid amount for all property sold; EXCEPT, when a "Transfer of Title" is required. Taxes for property which DO require "Transfer of Title", will be assessed by your county tax collecting agency. A business Tax Exemption Form; from your Dept. Of Revenue, may also be used to waive the sales tax (Copy must be provided).

Removal

REMOVAL: All items must be removed within TEN (10) business days from the date and time of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on GovDeals and Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary including: packing, loading and shipping of the property and under NO circumstances, will South Florida Water Management District assume that responsibility. Property may be removed by SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ONLY! WALK-UPS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! Warehouse pick-up is opened Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 3:30pm and CLOSED ON FRIDAYS! A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the TEN (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
