Inspection

Central Standard Time. This item is sold as is, where is and it is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange for pickup, loading and transportation. Payment

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency, Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, Money Order, Traveler’s Checks, Company Check (with Bank letter guaranteeing payment – mandatory)Checks shall be made payable to: City of Homewood. Payment will be made with Homewood Park, Recreation Center 1632 Oxmoor Rd.Homewood, Al. 35209. Bidder forfeits sale of merchandise if payment is not received at the close of 5 (five) business days.

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will City of Homewood assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Payment and pickup locations are different. Pickup by appointment only please
