Payment

THERE IS A 7 ½% HANDLING FEE TO BE ADDED TO THE COST OF THIS ITEM.

Full payment is due no later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: Cash-with EXACT change, Certified Cashier’s Check, Bank Money Order or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds-mandatory). Checks shall be made payable to: NEWTON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.

Items must be paid for at the Newton County Administration Building, 1113 Usher Street, Suite 201, Covington, GA 30014 prior to removal from the asset location.

Removal

Removal: YOU MUST CALL 678-625-1230 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICKUP THIS ITEM. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00am-3:00pm, EST, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

All items must be removed within 5 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 5 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
