Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or Credit Card (Discover Only).
Checks shall be made payable to: City of Virginia Beach Treasurer. Payments must be made at or mailed to 2401 Courthouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
Removal: All items must be removed within 5 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. If successful bidder requires a third party to perform removal of item, the bidder must provide the proof of original receipt and letter authorizing the third party to perform removal of item on successful bidder’s behalf.
Property may be removed by appointment only. If auction ends the day before a holiday, item is available for pick up on the next business day. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 5 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. |
